Hello, Thanks for the chance to let me try the beta version of Project Hospital. Since I am not good at simulation game, I started to play in the tutorial. I feel that this game could compare something with The Indie Stone's Project Zomboid which has been almost 5 years early released and still keep updated every month. It may looks like a quite odd comparison (zombie versus hospital), but their general graphic and detailed elements are in a very similar way to design. In Project Hospital, such as the plane and line are very straight, but it is kind of too rigid for everything can be seen so clearly. At first, I am disappointed with Constructor HD for its it doesn't revive memorable classical element well but transform into a hybrid (old and new) thing. How to bring new idea and preserve the classic is a big issue, for every old game wants to survive in the modern world. The reviews prove that some people want new thing but not retro-style (terrible art for them), and few people want the game be classical as in the old time, the young generation just can't understand what is interesting or important of this game. Although Constructor HD improves image quality as the name "HD" to see clearer the texture by zooming in (Theme Hospital Remake is doing so), it doesn't want to add more 3D models (It is a style similar to Wallace and Gromit's clay animation), just reduce cutscenes, and add some 2D luminous cartoon characters (Cartoon Network style) in it. I have to admit that I only have little experience with the classic AVG, like Sierra or Lucas Art. I believe they are all great works, but my age disturbs me to approach them, comparing to modern video games, the traditional are sometimes limited with graphic and sound, also much harder puzzles. For the hardcore, they are the core of AVG. But I was't too worried about Legend of Hand (LoH), actually I really enjoy LoH for its amusing content which is included with multiple characters, soundtrack, illustrations. I already knew Cloak and Dagger Games for a while, The main developers Shaun Aitcheson and John Inch are the fan of AVG but their games have showed some new things on the way of AVG road, such as Mudlarks uses a Google Map-like real view as background for a modern story, and The Terrible Old Man presents a expressive and creep drawing for old man’s face. Just a empty room for not available right now, would it be the reason for this is a demo, so I can't actually complete the first game in the museum? It is still good to see something different in the retro game, like this slogan which usually can be seen in metagames to communicate with players. Here are my other opinions that the coin finding puzzle is good to lead the player come in and go back to the same room. It is a little bit hard for controlling the character to jump by preventing the nails but at least it is easier when the player died and rebirthed in the near place. Yes, when we supported the works, that means we support the developer and his/her works. But itch.io doesn't like Steam or any huge commercial game platform have strict and secure rule for preventing people who want to put some pirated or unauthorized stuffs here.
